در تراز ورودی، ورودی‌ای با قوس گرد و پنجره‌ای مجاور با قوس گرد قرار دارد که جلوه‌ای شبیه به یک رواق طاق‌دار ایجاد می‌کند. نمای عمارت تحت تأثیر یک پنجره پیش‌آمده و منحنی‌شکل در طبقات دوم و سوم است که بر فراز آن نرده‌ای سنگی قرار گرفته است. هر دو طبقه دارای پنجره‌های سه‌تایی با قاب‌های چهارگوش هستند. در زیر پنجره‌های طبقه چهارم، نوارهای تزئینی با کتیبه‌های قاب‌بندی‌شده و غنی قرار دارد. دودکش بلندی با پوشش سنگ‌آهکی، ترکیب‌بندی معماری را ادامه می‌دهد که از شاتوهای دره لوآر الهام گرفته است. اگرچه عمارت والدو بر اساس شاتوهای فرانسوی قرن شانزدهم طراحی شده، مقیاس کوچک‌تر و محیط شهری آن، حاصلِ معماری‌ای شاخص و متعلق به اواخر قرن نوزدهم آمریکاست.
