"Twee vergelijkbare rijen van brownstone huizen gebouwd voor hun eigenaar Finery M. Van Tassel, een graanhandelaar, die op Clinton Street woonde op de blok naar het zuiden. Ze zijn respectievelijk ontworpen in 1879 (Nr. 351A-357A) door Perkins & Green, architecten, en in 1877 (Nr. 345-351) door de architect H. M. Tostevin. Ze zijn retardataire Italiaans met enkele Neo-Grec decoratieve invloeden, voornamelijk bij de dakrand. De zuidelijke rij heeft zijn balustrades en Neo-Grec frontons met deuren behouden. De nieuwel posten zijn interessant verschillend bij Nr. 355A en 353A."

Dit townhouse bestaat uit 3 eenheden. De lagere duplex omvat de achtertuin, plus de kelder die halfafgebouwd is. Het heeft 2 slaapkamers met 1,5 badkamers. Veel van het historische detail is intact op het Parlor-niveau met historische plafondlijstwerk, vloerpaden en houten luiken. "Two similar rows of brownstone houses built for their owner Finery M. Van Tassel, a grain merchant, who lived on Clinton Street on the block to the south. They were designed respectively in 1879 (Nos. 351A-357A) by Perkins & Green, architects, and in 1877 (Nos. 345-351) by the architect H. M. Tostevin. They are retardataire Italianate with some Neo-Grec decorative influence primarily at the roof cornices. The southern row has retained its balustrades and Neo-Grec pedimented doorways. The newel posts are interestingly different at Nos. 355A and 353A."

This townhouse consists of 3 units. The lower duplex includes the backyard, plus the basement which is semi- finished. It is a 2 Bedroom with 1.5 baths. Much of the historic detailing is intact on the Parlor level with historic ceiling molding, flooring patterns, and wood shutters. Ceilings in the Parlor level are 11 feet, with the upper two floors having 9 feet 5 inch ceilings.
