The Roger Morris Co-op is in a historic and inviting Sugar Hill neighborhood - half a block from the entrance to Highbridge Park on Edgecombe Avenue, a stroll away from the C and 1 Subways, and two and a half blocks from the historic Morris-Jumel Mansion - built by the same Roger Morris the co-op was named for, back in 1765. The Mansion also served as one of George Washington's headquarters during the American Revolution .and is today a museum, open to the public.

Other notable residents in this neighborhood have been Duke Ellington (935 St. Nicholas Ave), Paul Robeson (555 Edgecombe Ave) & Justice Thurgood Marshall (409 Edgecombe Ave)... and now, perhaps, you?

Apartment 1 is on a "high first floor" - easily accessible from the street but also high above all passersby on the sidewalk below.
