" the current owner (me;) is Swiss and in Switzerland (same for France and Italy) people love walkups because it is much less boring than going to the gym, saves the cost of a membership and is a valuable investment in one's own cardio health and physical shape. Ask any doctor, the benefit of regularly climbing stairs is amazing. My current place in Geneva is a 4th floor walkup and I am in top shape despite the fact that I work a lot and ain't got much time for extra exercise!"
