Alcuni monolocali vi costringono a scendere a compromessi.
Some studios make you compromise. This one gives you options! Set on the first floor at the corner of East 7th Street and Cortelyou Road, this updated corner studio starts with a separate foyer that can also serve as a dining area - and means your dining table doesn't have to double as absolutely everything.
Continue into the generously sized living area, where two exposures provide good natural light and give you flexibility to create distinct sleeping, relaxing, and work-from-home spaces. As an added first-floor advantage, the 8'3" ceilings are higher than those on the upper floors of the building. Hardwood floors run underfoot, while good closet space helps keep everything else out of sight.
The windowed kitchen had been renovated previously, and it features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The finishes have been well maintained and continue to present nicely. The modern tiled bathroom has likewise been well cared for since its renovation-proof that good choices can age gracefully.
The well-maintained elevator building offers a live-in Super, full-time Porter, common laundry, a shared green garden area, storage and bicycle space, and an indoor parking garage. Parking waitlist is below average for the neighgorhood! Cats are welcome; dogs, unfortunately, will have to continue their apartment search (Registered Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals are excluded from this restriction). It is easier to purchase in this high occupancy building as the minimum downpayment is only 15 percent.
And then there's the location. With Cortelyou Road right outside, the building puts you just a couple of blocks to neighborhood shopping, restaurants, cafés, and local businesses. Head east along Cortelyou and you'll quickly find yourself among the popular restaurants, coffee shops, and neighborhood favorites of Ditmas Park-close enough that deciding to "just grab a coffee" can easily turn into dinner.
For transportation, the Q train at Cortelyou Road provides direct service toward Downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan, while the nearby Ditmas Avenue station provides access to the F train. The B68 bus runs along Coney Island Avenue, with express bus service offering another option for Manhattan commuters. In other words, leaving the neighborhood is easy-although Cortelyou Road keeps providing reasons not to.
Enjoy the residential feel of Kensington together with the restaurants, shopping, transportation, and neighborhood energy of Cortelyou Road and Ditmas Park practically at your doorstep.
