Nestled on a historic block in the West Village, 69 Bedford is one of the most beautiful townhouses in the neighborhood. Built in 1836 and lovingly renovated, this stunning four-story home is available to rent fully furnished starting May 1st 2026.



Enter the home from a classic stoop with wrought iron railings, welcoming you into this elegant house with soaring ten foot ceilings and original wood floors and details throughout. The parlor floor is flooded with sunlight from gorgeous, over-sized french windows and doors which open onto a limestone-tiled terrace flanked with planters and trees. The parlor floor living-room and library are filled with exquisite antiques, stunning art and two fireplaces.

Gorgeously bright and airy, the second and third floors are lit by a central skylight at the top of the stairs and have large east/west facing windows. The second floor has a peaceful study overlooking the garden which doubles as a bedroom and features a daybed and there's another large bedroom on this level with a huge walk in closet. The top floor master suite is absolutely stunning. Tastefully decorated and sunlit from windows which were painstakingly enlarged to allow for maximum light and views, the huge ensuite, room-sized bathroom was featured on the cover of a Waterworks bathroom book and in O Magazine. It features a mosaic-tiled shower and steam bath with double vanity sinks, a luxurious deep soaking tub for two, a fireplace and a walk in closet.

Downstairs, the garden level of 69 Bedford has a charming sitting room with original wide plank floors and a stunning eat in country kitchen with exposed beams, marble counter-tops, radiant heat floors and custom pine cabinetry.
