Bathed in natural light and on a quiet street in prime Cobble Hill, this single family townhouse at 146 Baltic St. was built circa 1852 and renovated over the decades, most recently in 2017. Its graceful blend of original features and thoughtfully executed changes creates a gracious home that is both timeless and fresh, and notably warm and comfortable.

Approach via a newly rebuilt bluestone sidewalk, original iron fence and handrails, and a well-preserved front door; inside are wide-plank wood floors, historically accurate replacement windows, and four original decorative mantels, one with a wood-burning fireplace. Modern additions include central AC on the upper floors, split systems on the garden level, and a security system with video intercom. There are large spaces for entertaining, including three different outdoor areas, and a choice of rooms for quieter times, among them five bedrooms, two smaller side rooms, and three full baths.
