A sunny one-bedroom to combat fall rainstorms!

The monthly rent covers heat, hot water and cooking gas leaving only electricity and internet (FiOS) the responsibility of the tenant. Pets are accepted upon approval.

Entering the residence, there is an area immediately to the left for storing coats, bags and shoes. In addition, the first of three closets lies straight ahead.

Onward towards the open kitchen / living room, the space provides views of the Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Gardens, Brooklyn Library and Mt. Prospect Park. The only distraction from the beautiful southern and eastern exposures is the thoughtfully renovated kitchen. The island has a stone counter and was expanded to include cabinets on both the front and back as well as a suite of stainless steel appliances including a microwave and dishwasher. A chef's dream, it is the perfect helm for entertaining friends or for a solo cooking session and a quiet evening at home.

At the other end of the apartment, the bathroom features a bathtub, oversized mirror and linen closet across the hall. Beyond, the bedroom offers southern exposure and enough room for a queen-sized bed. The bed can fit between or parallel to the two massive armoires that anchor the north wall. Best of all, there is a palatial walk-in closet to accommodate clothing and storage.

The apartment boasts hardwood floors throughout. For hours when the doorman is away, there is a video intercom for buzzing in guests.

Built in 1922, Museum Court is a 6-story elevator building with part time doorman, shared laundry and a two-tiered roof deck providing sweeping views of Brooklyn, Manhattan and New York Harbor. It is anchored on Eastern Parkway, a stunning thoroughfare designed by Frederick Olmsted & Calvert Vaux (modelled after the Champs-Elysees). In addition to all of the cultural anchored across the street, Grand Army Plaza plays host to a bountiful Saturday Farmers Market and Prospect Park serves as a respite from the hustle of city life.

The 2/3 train is just up the street and the B/Q trains are a little farther down on Flatbush. Atlantic Barclays is nearby and offers an array of subways into Manhattan (and beyond) as well as the LIRR to get out of town. Both Washington and Vanderbilt play host to myriad cafe's, restaurants and bars. There are four grocery stores, two pharmacies an ice cream parlor, craft beer bar and enormous gym all within striking distance.
