بازگشت به بازار... این طراحی دراماتیک و معاصر در هتل دز آرتیست تمام ویژگی‌ها را دارد. طراحی شده توسط معمار ویبکه لیشتن به عنوان خانه‌ای برای او و همسرش، این دوپلکس دارای یک اتاق بزرگ وسیع با یک پله شناور به طبقه دوم است. با سقفی به ارتفاع 18'9" و پنجره‌ای 15'9" که به سمت شمال است، این اقامتگاه گوشه‌ای از نور ناشی از سه طرف (شمال، غرب، جنوب) پر شده است. طبقه اول دارای شعلۀ آتش‌سوزی است و نمایی شگفت‌انگیز از شهر به همراه نمای جانبی از پارک مرکزی را ارائه می‌دهد. یک فضای جداگانه ناهارخوری با پنجره و همچنین یک بار صبحانه وجود دارد. آشپزخانه باز و پنجره‌ای سرآشپز دارای کابینت‌های سفارشی، از جمله یک انبار بزرگ و کانترهای کوارتز است. همچنین دارای لوازم خانگی با کیفیت بالا است: 2 یخچال بزرگ SubZero که یکی برای مجموعه شراب شماست، یک فر ایتالیایی (با تهویه خارج) و یک ماشین ظرفشویی Miele. در ورودی، یک سرویس بهداشتی کوچک وجود دارد.

BACK ON THE MARKET...This dramatic contemporary design atelier at the Hotel des Artistes has it all. Designed by architect Vibeke Lichten as a home for her and her husband, the duplex features an expansive great room with a floating staircase to the second level. With a soaring 18’9” ceiling and 15’9” north-facing window, this corner residence is bathed in light from 3 exposures: North, West, South. The second primary has a Miele washer/dryer and a large bathroom with both an oversized tub and a shower. An open library on this floor could be used as a bedroom loft or enclosed for a 3rd private bedroom.

This exceptional residence has Sonos surround sound and 5-zoned central air conditioning as well as beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Once the home/studio of the artist Howard Chandler Christy, who painted the murals of dancing nymphs for the des Artistes restaurant, Residence 707 has been meticulously renovated and maintained by the current owners, making it a lovely home for comfortable living and elegant entertaining. Built in 1917 as a home for artists, the Hotel des Artistes is a majestic 18-story building with a Gothic-style facade featuring charming gargoyles of painters, sculptors and writers. Designed by the architect George Mort Pollard, the building has been home to many of the famed and illustrious, including Noel Coward, Isadora Duncan, writer Fannie Hurst, Alexander Woollcott, Norman Rockwell and Joel Grey.
